Detroit City Hall scandal update. Mayor Mary Sheffield cops to taking tens of thousands of dollars from lover boy number two, Marvin Walker. But her defense? She swears he’s paying her back from ten thousands of dollars in loans that she gave to him.

The cash that you would pay him, you wouldn’t get it out I have money in my house. I’m asking if you have any proof that you paid the money. The proof is what I just told you.
We asked her for the bank receipts but she won’t give them to us. That’s okay. The feds don’t need permission to get your bank receipts madam.
Everything that you want to see out here, Marvin Walker got his hands on it. And Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield cops to the fact that her non-profit paid lover boy number two. That’s the 501c3 that Kilpatrick is using as a sludge fund and it landed him in the federal prison.
I have regrets about the decisions that I made in office. Decisions of sin. Now here’s how lover boy number two said it worked.
Her non-profit would write him a check for doing nothing. He’d take it to the bank and then he’d come back and give her cash. In fact here’s a text message from the mayor instructing lover boy number two how to do it.
Now we’ve asked to see the checks. She wouldn’t give them to us but hey gonna have to give them to the feds aren’t you. I would like for you to take those pictures down off your Facebook page.
And Detroit Chief of Police Todd Bettison, how does this guy still have a job surveilling citizens, goons jumping out of squad cars. It’s policing like that that lit off the 67 riot. To know that I was going to be attacked by four officers and attacked to the formation and uh shut down like I was being robbed by crime and criminals.
No I had no clue that happened to me especially not downtown in front of all these cameras and just in broad daylight. And Bettison was also putting a muscle on lover boy. He sent 16 cops here to padlock this rental property just to show Marvin what’s what for talking to me.
But the thing is they didn’t tell the people who lived here. Now this old vet you’re about to see was sleeping in his car without his walker and his high blood pressure medication. What a f*****g mess.
I came home to find this, find it all boarded up. All my belongings is in the inside. What you got in there? Walker, disability, scooter, all my clothes, medicines.
You got caught up in politics. Is that what it is? I don’t know what what the problem is. I called someone in the city that could do something about it and nobody wants to do anything about it.

It’s not about me. Let me just say this stuff. It is fascinating to watch Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield bury herself while trying to dig herself out of quicksand and take it from me.
The authorities are circling. Sheffield told on herself last week. She said she took the cash.
She admitted as much in a grammar mangled statement before running away from TV cameras. Good job, Erica Erickson. At least advance it.
Okay. Now the scandal’s only going larger. Let me quote from her statement last week.
Quote, During the course of our relationship, I personally loaned him tens of thousands of dollars, she wrote. Any funds he provided me was repayment for money he owed me. Now, all of this.
Did you hear that? What are you writing over there? I’m making questions. Oh, I do the questions. These are questions for you.
Okay, listen now. We’ll discuss that after the show. Tens of thousands of dollars, Adolph, all on a city council salary.
Think about this. Her former lover, Marvin Walker, would bring the cash in the middle of the night. Now, we know this because Walker made videos of himself fanning wads of cash before depositing them in her mailbox.
Sheffield admitted as much. Tens of thousands of dollars. Madam, your hand’s in the bag now.
The people handling this for you are stupid. But, you know, you did it. So, there’s no solving it.
Now, look, the money was druggie looking. It was like wrinkled and weathered. The bills were not bundled with paper bank bands, but with rubber bands.
Rubber bands, not bank bands, rubber bands. Now, Walker told me, listen to me, Marvin. Oh, this guy.
Walker told me they were kickbacks from local businessmen and that he acted as the middleman. And emails exist memorializing all these relationships. Walker told me this.
And then Walker told the languishing local newspapers that they were not kickbacks, that I got it all wrong, and that he hadn’t seen Mary Sheffield in years. Marvin, are you listening? It’s me and you. Maybe we should release some audio tape, Marv? We were talking yesterday, you know, trying to find out what would be a good time for me to release these, you know, so you got a hot minute to pack your bags and get the fuck gone.
But these dopes at the papers don’t get it. This is real life. This is Detroit shit.

Now, Sheffield and her crisis handlers declined to provide bank statements documenting the outrageously large deposits and withdrawals. Nobody does this in 2026. But there’s no going back on the story now.
You’re stuck with Tiffany Willis defense, and you see that didn’t work out. Now, then there are the claims that Walker shopped around himself, that he… Come on, man. You be honest in the media out there.
This dude goes, Walker, how long you had his documents? Since earlier this year. Okay, shit. Like, January, right? Yeah, the pictures, the documents, I got, like, within the last, I would say, four months.
Okay. I mean, damn. Okay.
So he… These are his stuff going around. They leaked out of you, Marvin. And you said that you were being paid by Sheffield out of some account for doing nothing and kicking back the money to her.
And Sheffield’s statement address this accusation as well. It’s not me just throwing something out today. Did you all miss the fact that she addressed this accusation? Quote, right here’s the statement.
That’s just a prop. I’m reading from this. I just want you to know, you all know that.
You can’t… Okay. Quote, I want to be crystal clear, she wrote, no city funds, no city funds were ever provided to Mr. Walker, nor has he ever received any city contract. In 2019, she continues, he received a total of $1,800 from a nonprofit for services he provided for community events like all others, unquote.
Now, hang with me, folks. Here’s how it works. That nonprofit is called a 501c3, the kind of political charity account that Kwame Kilpatrick used as a personal slush fund to pay for spa treatments, yoga lessons, and a Cadillac DeVille.
I’m going to finish this, but didn’t you get ahold into the grand jury over that fucking thing? What, they said fine? Yeah. Oh, okay. Note to self, Adolph Mongo, Grand Jury, Kwame, the 501c3 called the civic fund.
Write that down. We got to talk to him about that. But I did work.
I was what they wanted. You know what she don’t have? She doesn’t have a pit bull. And I look at that and I got beat up during the election because I said she wasn’t ready for prime time.
I said she wasn’t ready to go from city council to the mayor’s office. But yet, everybody was in love with her. We got to put her in and here she is.
Now she got a pile of shit that she got to plow through and do she have anybody that will come out and you know stand in front of the media and say all this is bullshit? No. She don’t. You have the police chief.
We’ll get to it. Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m just going to get through this, lay it out, and kick back and let you two motherfuckers go.

Nobody’s paying you. But I will say because of that civic fund that you got hauled into the grand jury over, Kilpatrick spent seven years in federal prison and still owes the government nearly a million dollars in restitution. Now for her part, Sheffield’s charity is called Detroit Donates.
It was awarded tax exempt status in that year of 2019. Okay, get ready. It’s a little juicy.

One of the directors for Detroit Donates in 2019. Deb, you with me here? Get this now. One of the directors for Detroit Donates in 2019 was Paris Blessman.
Did you hear? I just called your name Paris. Believe me, the authorities know your name too. You should take that for a fact.
One of the directors was Paris Blessman, a longtime and current political aide. In fact, the political left hand of Sheffield. Blessman listed Sheffield’s City Hall office suite as her address on Detroit Donates tax filings that year.
Good find T. All credit where credit’s due. You know what I’m doing? Well, it’s city, so I can FOIA it. You know, she called me and goes, oh my God, you see where the address is? I’m like, no, no, no.
Okay, anyway. Today, Blessman is listed as the charity’s president and the office has relocated to a community center operated by Reverend Horace Sheffield, the mayor’s father. And later in the program, we’ll go into a side.
Yeah, you’re in this man. Dude, when you come from Oakland County, you’re trying to navigate Wayne County. Never goes well.
That’s why Brooks Patterson would never cross a mile. He knew he’d get his ass whooped. He go, okay, I’ll be up here.

Their lawyer, the corporation council, was? The Wicked Witch of the West. Who? Granholm. Jennifer Granholm.

Anyway, Detroit Donates raised about 10 grand in 2019 and its revenues, dig me folks, its revenues exploded to more than 180,000 by 2024, and yet it still managed to run a deficit, a 20 grand a year. Don’t look right. Now, Walker estimated that he got at least, you know, seven grand in checks from Sheffield’s charity, but did not work for it.
She’d give him the check. He’d cash it and give her the money. That’s what he said.
Sometimes he wouldn’t even cash the check. What was he, a pimp? Huh? He get money. Well, is he a gigolo? You know, when you start, when you start using these charities, just giving people checks, that’s, that’s a big problem.
Now, you know, the civic fund was, it’s supposed to get the voter turnout and all that, help the kids and stuff. And obviously, you know, they was doing other things with the money. It seemed like this charity is probably doing, if this guy is to be believed, because I guess he’s a guy scorned because if that was your woman at one time, and now all of a sudden you taking videos and you keeping a record, that’s unbelievable.
Now you want to know what he said. And I quote directly, it ended up in her pocket. Now Walker showed me a string of text messages that you just saw outlining the scam.
One of the texts comes from Mary Sheffield cell phone, and it carries the timestamp of April 9th, 2023. So let’s not even be pretending like this was, Oh, a decade ago. Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t you have somebody, if you’re the mayor back and get out there and be your voice, I’ll be your voice here.
Let me quote from the, her text message, because this guy, if I was working for Mary Sheffield right now, and this guy come out and he started talking this shit, listen, there’ll be a response that, you know, he’ll take his ass and, and, and run away. But you know what? He has laid out the groundwork on our gate. She gave me money.
We know the old trick, uh, write me a check. I’d go to the bank. You heard of this trick.
Oh yes. This isn’t the most sophisticated modern, because the feds look at that and see when you deposit the check. And when did you take the same amount of money from me? They’re looking, you know, and, and you saying they got to give the feds, the checks already, whatever checks that’s been out there, they got it.
And you go to a grand jury, you’ll see all the checks on, uh, uh, every check, every check, every check you, they ever wrote anybody wrote, uh, you a check. And then you find out the rats that went to the feds and say, Hey, you know, we pay cash here. And we did this because there’s a whole lot of rats.
And I’m sure the first, the first people that jump off a sinking ship out of rats, you know, people trying to cover the people that jump up or rats. You’ve mixed metaphors here. Yeah.
Well, there is a mixed metaphor. No, ain’t no question about it. Let me quote from this.
Let me quote from the text message quote from Mary. I have a two K check as well. I’ll give you that.
And you give me two K back. And then a few minutes later, quote, do you have the two K cash? I can meet you and give you the check before I leave. That don’t sound like a payback of a loan.
Does it now again, Sheffield and her handlers have refused to provide copies of the checks or open to charities books. And then there’s the cops in her statement. Sheffield claims she had nothing to do with police chief, Todd Bettison’s freelancing antics, trying to tap down the growing scandal.
Tactical police were used to detain a man. Surveillance was used to track him. Rape charges were cooked up against Walker, but later dropped, right? T yes.
Okay. Thank you. Phone calls were made by Bettison asking people to remove risque photos of Sheffield and Walker posted online.
Those videos and photographs were leaked by Walker himself. And I got to quote some more quote. I’ve never used the power of my office to instigate any action or inaction involving Mr. Walker, including through the Detroit police department, Sheffield wrote.
Now, if that’s true, let’s just say that’s true. She, she didn’t. I don’t believe that in the slightest, right? Because as he said to the media, this, I did that because as a man is a man, it upset me.
And, you know, I’m glad there are men out there. We need more men, manly men. We need men.
And he said, as a father, it bothered him. This cyber stuff. We need better fathers.
Congratulations, sir. And as a husband, as a husband, it, it bothered him. And I’m like, you know, there by the grace of God, go, I, I’m not going to win husband of the year.
Father of the year. You priest of the year, nothing, but thank God, Mr. Bettison’s out there feeling this way. But when you make the calls, motherfucker, you’re the chief of police, 24, seven, 24, seven.
How does he still have a job? That kind of policing. He certainly, sir, is precisely what ignited the riots in 1967. Shake him up, fuck it down.
Yeah. No cause. You know, beating up people and all that, you know, there’s, you can’t stay.
So if he doesn’t stay, is that an admission that something’s wrong? Is that why he’s going to stay? No, because, because she, because if damned, if you do damned, if you don’t, you get rid of it, you get rid of them. Then you saying all the shit, that’s out there. It’s true.
If you don’t get rid of them, this story lasts forever. It becomes the navigator 2.0 and never go away. So what do you do? You know, the best thing was going to happen.

I mean, some of these people are going to get pissed off, but then you have the Mary supporters who aren’t catching this part of the story. They’re catching the sex. So they don’t have a problem with chief medicine.
And you also have to consider if you Dante had have been quiet, we wouldn’t know. They do. They do.
They clicked up. Yeah. So how many times has he done this? So I’m going to tell you, if my boss comes to me to have a one way conversation to fire me, I’m going to be Marvin Walker and be like, now, wait a minute.

And what a mayor, uh, insinuate. And, and you, and you go out there, if he lost to the cost, you go out there and say, okay, not a problem. And listen, this Todd Madison, you know, pull the shit down.
But I know in another time that there would have been other people that would have been doing the calling. It wouldn’t have been the police chief. It wouldn’t have been anybody that worked in our administration because she was had a, a group of folks out there in the community that didn’t have to get orders from her.
They would have just said, you know what? We got to check this out. We got to get this guy up. So we call him.
Can I, I forget. Okay. So the cops, you had do it.
Those were elite cops. You had them dresses, uh, uh, patrolman. You’ve lost the police department that the ice shit that went out and you, and you fired, you know, the, the longtime Sergeant that pissed the cops off.
You, this, you used your elite people to do what? Bullshit. Like you lost them. And then I want to throw this in because that’s my brothers and sisters that asked me to from the fire department.
The other part of doing this job of mayor is keeping the municipal gears going. The hardest thing for a mayor is the public safety unions and you know, the unions, basically municipal union, the fire department is working without a contract. It expired a couple of months ago.
They’re working on the old contract and they’re going to take the city to arbitrate. Didn’t they all, uh, endorse Mary? Didn’t they all say, love the, Hey, now you got buyer’s remorse. When I said that she wasn’t, uh, ready for prime time, not ready for prime time.

So it’s obvious that what I was saying when the election time was, you know what, need some more experience. Oh, you need people that’s experienced, that know the political scene, that know the city. If I can, she’s one of them.
Well, you should have hired her. But people knew that. And I think it was more of, you got a bunch of people cheerleading for Mary Sheffield because they could take advantage of Mary Sheffield.
Because I’d be looking at some of these people in the comments, and they’re old enough to be my parents and grandparents. And it’s like, I know y’all know fucking better. And y’all over here defending it and making it about sex.
This is about government corruption. It’s not about that. It’s about government corruption.
